Fine Creek Leathers - Gardner

The Gardner from Fine Creek Leathers in Veg Tan Horsehide is a mid-weight spring summer leather from Japan based leather craftsmen.

Coming in a roughly 1mm this leather is a thinner lighter horsehide and features a much quicker break-in period. 

The sizing of these run true to size. 

Brass zippers and snap hardware throughout the jacket accent beautifully against the black veg tan horsehide leather. Over time both the leather and hardware will patina to create even more character. 

Two hand warmer pockets one dropped front slant pocket and a coin pocket adore the front of this jacket while inside is simple with no additional storage 

The front asymmetrical zip is heavy gauge, while the zipper pull features a self locking mechanism to stop the jacket from unzipping during wear. Lastly the zipper pull tab is oversized for ease of use. 

The bottom of the jacket features a brass octagonal buckle and  .5" wide belt sewn into the back panel and has single snap belt loops on both wearers left and right sides can be worn closed or open based on your preference

On the sleeves you have detached leather gussets that sit under outer facing zippers of the wearers forearm for a more clean jacket read from the front. 

Epaulets are fixed to the shoulders for a classic cue to leather jackets of the 50's and 60's

The Gardner runs true to size.

It is a tailored fit. The Jacket will require some break in for it to fit comfortable. 

Tommy 6' / 40" chest / 185lbs wears a size 40 in the Gardner.
